A BIG thankyou to EVERYONE who came to the Festival and gave their support!! The International Headliner ‘MAGNET MAN’ from Barbados was awesome and attracted the biggest crowd along with the very popular and excellent LEE VASEY BIG BAND. X Factor TV star NIKK MAGER was also a hit. Everyone also enjoyed the Authentic ‘living’ Viking village and Viking Battle re-enactments. The Miniature Horses for the Disabled Association displayed the smallest horses in the world, another amazing attraction! Not forgetting The Dog Of The Year Show! 2009 DATE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY
The Vikings are the oldest and largest Dark Age re-enactment society in the UK, and probably the world. They thrilled the crowd
with their two live battle displays at Eskape Festival. The Vikings are the premier society presenting re-enactments of the Viking Age.

THANKYOU TO ALL THOSE WHO BROUGHT SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND FOOTBALL GEAR FOR  CHILDREN IN AFRICA. The team from the MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOUNDATION will be taking the supplies out to West Africa in person in late October 2008. MADF are organising a special football match/sports day for the children of the Mandinka Tribe in the very remote Jurunku.
It will all be filmed for TV and the internet.
