with their two live battle displays at Eskape Festival. The Vikings are the premier society presenting re-enactments of the Viking Age.

Young band ‘THICK TRICK CHLOE’ took part in the preliminary heat in the morning.
Previous Prelim winners ‘NO COMMENT’ and ‘GRACE AND BEA’ performed at night.

THANKYOU TO ALL THOSE WHO BROUGHT SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND FOOTBALL GEAR FOR CHILDREN IN AFRICA. The team from the MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOUNDATION will be taking the supplies out to West Africa in person in late October 2008. MADF are organising a special football match/sports day for the children of the Mandinka Tribe in the very remote Jurunku.
It will all be filmed for TV and the internet.
